ITEM 8.01 OTHER EVENTS

On December 13, 2012, the Company announced top-line 30-day data from the Phase Ib study of XIAFLEX for the potential treatment of adult patients with edematous fibrosclerotic panniculopathy (EFP), commonly known as cellulite, which is being conducted by BioSpecifics’ partner Auxilium Pharmaceuticals, Inc.
