ITEM 8.01 OTHER EVENTS

On March 26, 2013, the Company announced positive statistically significant top-line data from the Phase IIa study for XIAFLEX for the potential treatment of frozen shoulder (adhesive capsulitis), which was conducted by BioSpecifics’ strategic partner Auxilium Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Auxilium).
