On June 22, 2014 Mr. Zengbiao Yu informed the Board of Directors of China Valves Technology, Inc. (the “Company”) that he resigned as the Company’s Independent Board director and Chairman of the Audit committee, effective immediately. Mr. Yu’s resignation is not in connection with any known disagreement with the Company on any matter. The Company is currently in the process of selecting a new director, and will file a subsequent Current Report on Form 8-K when the selection is made.
