CTO LEAVES MATÁV

 

BUDAPEST – March 31, 2004 – Matáv (NYSE: MTA.N and BSE: MTAV.BU), the leading Hungarian telecommunications service provider hereby announces that Mr. Manfred Ohl Chief Technical Officer and Chief Officer of Matáv’s Network Systems has resigned from his position effective April 30, 2004.

 

Mr. Ohl has been serving as Chief Technical Officer since January 1, 1999. Since January 1, 2002 he has also been carrying out the role of Chief Officer of Matáv’s Network Systems. As of May 1, 2004 he becomes the Chief Technical Officer of the Croatian telecoms company Hrvatske Telekomunikacije. The management of Matáv Group would like to take this opportunity to express their appreciation for Mr. Ohl’s contribution to the company.

 

The appointment of Mr. Ohl’s successor is currently under consideration.
