Item 5.02.                                        Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

 

On October 17, 2017, the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of Iron Mountain Incorporated (the “Company”) elected Daniel Borges, 48, to serve as Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer, effective October 17, 2017.  In such capacity, Mr. Borges will also serve as the Company’s principal accounting officer. Mr. Borges has been with the Company since June 2002. Mr. Borges most recently held the position Vice President, Global Controller from June 2014. Mr. Borges holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Babson College and is a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

 

There are no arrangements or understandings between Mr. Borges and any other persons pursuant to which he was elected as an officer, and Mr. Borges has no direct or indirect material interest in any transaction required to be disclosed pursuant to Item 404(a) of Regulation S-K. Mr. Borges does not have a family relationship with any member of the Board or any executive officer of the Company.
