VISIPHOR APPOINTS SENIOR EXECUTIVE TO CONSOLIDATE SALES

 AND MARKETING

VANCOUVER, CANADA, September 1, 2006 – Visiphor Corporation (“Visiphor” or the “Company”) (OTCBB: VISRF; TSX-V: VIS; DE: IGYA) announces that effective September 1st, 2006 Mr. Mike Hilton, currently Sr. Vice President of Product Management, will assume the role of Sr. Vice President responsible for Sales and Marketing and combine the Sales and Marketing and Product Management groups.


Mr. Hilton has been managing and supporting the activities of the sales organization in Consulting Services since March as well as supporting the activities of all sales and marketing since joining the company through the acquisition of Sunaptic Solutions in November 2005, where he was the President and CEO.  “I am very excited to expand my work to include the talented team of sales professionals at Visiphor and with them build on our relationships with valued customers and partners throughout North America and the world.  We have a tremendous opportunity in front of us and I know everyone in the organization is ready to rise to the challenge”, says Mike.


Mr. Dan Vermeire has left his position as the Company’s Vice-President of Sales and Marketing for personal reasons. Mr. Vermeire will continue as a consultant to the Company and will support the sales team in maintaining the valuable customer relationships that he has built during his time with Visiphor.
