On September 30, 2005, Alexander & Baldwin, Inc. (the “Company”) conducted a live webcast of a corporate strategy update. The webcast was previously announced in a press release and was broadly accessible to the public. A replay of the webcast, with the accompanying slides, will be available on the Company’s website at www.alexanderbaldwin.com at least until the end of October 2005.

The Company believes, however, that the information contained in the webcast may be of continuing importance to shareholders subsequent to October 2005. Accordingly, the transcript of the presentation and the accompanying slides, edited solely for the correction of errors, are included as exhibits to this Form 8-K.
