Item 8.01     Other Events

On May 19, 2008, LHC Group, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that it has signed definitive agreements to acquire 100% of the assets of Home Care Solutions. Based in Nashville, Tennessee, Home Care Solutions currently operates eight locations in Tennessee and two in Virginia.
