On December 16, 2004, Leggett & Platt, Incorporated issued a press release to update earnings guidance for the fourth quarter of 2004 and provide full year earnings guidance for 2005. The press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference. On December 17, 2004, the company will hold an investor conference call to discuss the press release.
