On January 30, 2006, Winn-Dixie Stores, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release that commented on the disbandment of the official committee of Winn-Dixie equity security holders. In addition, the press release provided guidance on the Company’s identical store sales for the second quarter ended January 11, 2006.
