On January 18, 2007, Fastenal Company (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that on January 18, 2007 its Board of Directors declared a dividend of $.21 per share be paid in cash on March 2, 2007 to shareholders of record at the close of business on February 26, 2007. A copy of that press release is attached as an exhibit to this report and is incorporated herein by reference.
