On July 28, 2009, Life Technologies Corporation (the “Company”) posted to the Investor Relations section of its website, http://www.lifetechnologies.com, (i) a replay of its investor conference call held on July 28, 2009, relating to the announcement of the Company’s Second Quarter 2009 results, for which a press release was attached as Exhibit 99.1 to the Company’s Current Report on Form 8-K, filed on July 28, 2009.

The Company also provided additional answers to certain follow up questions from the investor conference calls by posting a Questions and Answers document to the Investor Relations section of the Company’s website on July 29, 2009. A copy of the Company’s Questions and Answers document, which is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1, will also be available on the Investor Relations section of the Company’s website for a period of three weeks from July 29, 2009.
