RESPONSE TO INQUIRY FROM THE KOREA EXCHANGE TO COMMENT ON RUMORS REGARDING A POTENTIAL SPIN-OFF OF THE OKSUSU BUSINESS FROM SK BROADBAND

While SK Telecom Co., Ltd. (the “Company”) is currently considering various options to enhance the competitiveness of its media business, including a spin-off of the OKSUSU business from SK Broadband Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the Company, the Company has not made any decision in connection with the above. The Company plans to update its disclosure regarding this matter when a definitive decision is made or, in any case, by no later than March 13, 2019.
