On October 27, 2005, Service Corporation International issued a press release
announcing the filing of its second quarter form 10-Q and confirming its
financial results for the second quarter of 2005. A copy of this press release
is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this report and is incorporated herein by
reference.
