On March 17, 2007, the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors of SCM Microsystems, Inc. (the "Company") approved the payment of a cash bonus of €20,000 for Robert Schneider, the Company's chief executive officer. This cash award was made based on the achievement of operating profit by the Company for the fourth quarter of 2006.
