(1)	The reporting person transferred 50,000 shares of Entergy common stock to J&W Leonard, L.L.C., a limited liability company (the "LLC"), of which the reporting person and his spouse are the sole managers and owners of 14.8% of the outstanding units and of which a trust for the benefit of the reporting person's daughters is the holder of the remaining 85.2% of the outstanding units.
(2)	Includes 50,000 shares of Entergy common stock held by the LLC. The reporting person disclaims beneficial ownership of such 50,000 shares, except to the extent of the reporting person's pecuniary interest in such shares. This number of shares includes 1,142 shares of Entergy common stock owned by the reporting person in the Entergy Savings Plan.
