On December 4, 2015, ESSA Bancorp, Inc. issued a press release announcing the completion of its acquisition of Eagle National Bancorp, Inc. and its subsidiary, Eagle National Bank. A copy of the press release dated December 4, 2015, announcing the completion of the acquisition, is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this report and is being furnished to the SEC and shall not be deemed "filed" for any purpose.
