ISRAEL LTD. ANNOUNCES GENERAL MEETING OF THE
COMPANY'S SERIES A & C
DEBENTURE-HOLDERS
Netanya, Israel – February 8,
2009 – Cellcom Israel Ltd. (“Company”) (NYSE: CEL) announced that following its
report on August 6, 2008, regarding the resignation of the trustee for the
holders of the Company's series A & C debentures, the Company shall be
convening a general meeting for the holders of each series, in which meeting the
holders shall be requested to approve the nomination of an alternate
trustee.
Nomination
of an alternate trustee shall further require the approval of an Israeli
competent court. The current resigning trustee shall continue to act as trustee
until such approval is granted.
