Item 5.02     Departure of Directors or Principal Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Principal Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

(c)   On April 1, 2010, PartnerRe Ltd. (the “Company”) appointed David Outtrim as Chief Accounting Officer, Group.  Mr. Outtrim, 38 years old, joined the Company in January 2007 as Group Controller and was responsible for the management of Group accounting and reporting processes and implementation and on-going management of the internal control environment procedures, processes and systems to support these requirements. Prior to that appointment, he was the Financial Controller at Quanta Capital Holdings Ltd. from 2004 to 2006. Before that, Mr. Outtrim was an Auditor and Senior Manager at KPMG (Bermuda and Europe) from 1996 through 2004.
