Item 8.01.   Other Events.
     On February 5, 2010, Coeur d’Alene Mines Corporation (the “Company”) closed a public offering of its Senior Term Notes due December 31, 2012 (the “Notes”). All amounts due under the Notes may be paid in cash, shares of the Company’s common stock, par value $0.01 per share (the “Common Stock”), or a combination of cash and shares of Common Stock. In satisfaction of the installment amount due under the Notes on March 31, 2010, the Company will issue 712,003 shares of Common Stock on or about April 1, 2010 in a registered offering.
