METHANEX TO PRESENT AT GOLDMAN SACHS BASIC MATERIALS CONFERENCE

Methanex Corporation will be presenting at the upcoming Goldman Sachs Basic Materials Conference in New York. Mr. Ian Cameron, Methanex’s Senior Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer, will speak to investors on Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at approximately 4:20 p.m. ET (1:20 p.m. PT).

Interested participants can access a live webcast of the presentation through the Company’s website at www.methanex.com/investor/events.html. The length of the webcast will be approximately 30 minutes. The webcast will be available on our website for three weeks following the conference.
