Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Principal Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Principal Officers

     On December 15, 2006, Goodrich Petroleum Corporation (the “Company”) issued a press release to announce that Robert C. Turnham, Jr., the Company’s President and Chief Operating Officer, had been named to the Company’s Board of Directors. Mr. Turnham was appointed to the Board of Directors on December 12, 2006.
