ITEM 7.01. REGULATION FD DISCLOSURE
On March 27, 2006, Ashford Hospitality Trust, Inc. (the “Company”) announced that it sold a
portfolio of eight non-core Residence Inn hotels for approximately $102.0 million, which includes
the assumption of approximately $93.7 million of existing debt by the buyer.
