On January 19, 2007 Ashford Hospitality Trust, Inc. (the “Company”) held a conference call
discussing its acquisition of a 51-hotel portfolio from CNL Hotels and Resorts. A copy of the
conference call transcript is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1. On January 19, 2007, the Company
filed a Form 8-K that included the related press release.
