GNEX-CRTA 2025 to Bring North American Timeshare Community Together in Orlando
The 2025 GNEX-CRTA Conference will be held at the Hyatt Regency Orlando September 23-25, 2025
The signature cross-border event unites resort developers, vendors, and executives from across the vacation ownership spectrum.

Orlando, Fla. - April 4, 2025 - This September, the North American vacation ownership industry will converge in Orlando, Florida, as the 2025 GNEX-CRTA Conference takes on a new format at the Hyatt Regency Orlando from September 23-25, 2025. Organized in collaboration with the Canadian Resort and Travel Association (CRTA), the event marks the debut of the GNEX-CRTA Roadshow—a new initiative designed to bring the conference experience to key markets across North America. This year’s destination: the heart of vacation ownership. The three-day gathering will unite resort developers and service providers from Canada, the U.S., and Mexico to connect, collaborate, and celebrate the companies that serve the travel needs of Canadians.

Known for its high-energy format and curated networking, GNEX-CRTA is the only event specifically tailored to companies that market and sell vacation ownership products to Canadian consumers. By hosting the 2025 conference in Orlando—the global hub of timeshare—GNEX and CRTA are creating a unique opportunity to strengthen cross-border partnerships and highlight the companies setting the standard in ethical business practices and customer satisfaction.

“This is more than just a conference—it’s a platform to celebrate integrity, strengthen relationships, and explore what’s next for our industry,” said Gaetan Babin, President & CEO of CRTA. “The Canadian Resort and Travel Association, along with our Board of Directors—comprising senior executives representing every facet of the industry—remains committed to endorsing resorts, vacation clubs, and affiliates that serve Canadian travelers. With so many Canadians choosing to vacation south of the border, we felt it was important to bring this year’s conference to the U.S. as a show of unity and collaboration across Canada, the U.S., Mexico, and the Caribbean.”

The Hyatt Regency Orlando, situated on International Drive and just steps from countless entertainment venues, will provide a sophisticated backdrop for the event. With expansive meeting space, upscale accommodations, and resort-style amenities, the venue combines business functionality with a premium hospitality experience.

“Orlando is where the vacation ownership industry thrives year-round,” said Paul Mattimoe, President & CEO of Perspective Group and the GNEX Conference. “Bringing GNEX-CRTA to this city allows us to create powerful new opportunities for collaboration among companies that serve Canadian travelers and beyond.”

Co-hosted by the Canadian Resort and Travel Association, the conference recognizes and supports companies that meet CRTA’s high standards for transparency, ethics, and consumer protection. The 2025 agenda will feature panel discussions, networking events, and thought leadership sessions focused on emerging trends, innovative marketing strategies, and regulatory updates impacting the vacation ownership sector in Canada and across North America.
