As a lifelong learner, she furthered her education at Daemen University, where she earned a Master of Public Health, and again at the University of Bridgeport, receiving a Doctor of Health Science in clinical health and clinical education.
Dr. Warrick has earned numerous professional certifications. She holds certifications in contact tracing from John Hopkins University in Baltimore and national incident management from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). She also obtained a Clinical Research Associate Certification and ACRP-PM from the Association of Clinical Research Professionals and CITI Certification from the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI).
With an extensive educational foundation, Dr. Warrick has held several distinguished roles. She served as a clinical research coordinator at the University at Buffalo Neurosurgery from 2019 to 2021 before moving on to the clinical research organization ClinChoice in 2022.
At ClinChoice, Dr. Warrick began as an associate and climbed the company's ladder, becoming a clinical trial lead, project manager and senior global project manager. At ClinChoice, she gained experience overseeing clinical trials across multiple therapeutic areas.
Identifying a skills gap in the industry prompted Dr. Warrick to found her company, Lesous Consulting LLC, where she serves as the chief executive officer. Founded in 2023, this consulting firm reflects Dr. Warrick's values in helping people through education and technology solutions. Lesous Consulting provides feasible consulting services, career guidance and research assessments that drive innovation in health care and beyond.
In her role at Lesous Consulting, Dr. Warrick draws on her course development experience and extensive research experience to evaluate proposals from pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. She also helps guide startup businesses entering the industry and effectively using their funding, assisting clients in embracing creativity while making fully informed decisions.
From Researcher to Author
Dr. Warrick is the author of two books, "What the Heal" and "Burst the Bubble: A Look Into Careers in the Pharmaceutical Industry," published in 2024. While reaching many professional achievements throughout her career, she is especially proud to have garnered multiple awards for her book "Burst the Bubble." Through these works, she has built connections and educated many individuals aspiring to have careers in clinical research. She shares her expertise through her travels, donating her books to students in many areas.
Accomplishments and Civic Advocacy
Dr. Warrick received the National Educators' Program Award in 2014 after helping raise funds for women in Afghanistan. She also received the Who's Who Award from York College of Pennsylvania in 2017 and the Excellence in Service Award from ClinChoice in 2023.
Dedicated to civic advocacy, Dr. Warrick participates in various charity events, including Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Alzheimer's Awareness Month. She also donates to local churches.
In the next five to 10 years, Dr. Warrick plans to expand her consulting firm and establish it as a leading resource for clinical researchers seeking skills and development training.
