United Parks announced that it has completed the sale of Daytona Lagoon, the premier waterpark and family entertainment center in Daytona Beach, Florida, to BWL Acquisition on December 30, 2021. The announcement follows the lease approval by the Volusia County Council on December 14, a condition to closing. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Since acquiring Daytona Lagoon in October 2015, United Parks has invested over $6 million in revitalization efforts as part of a multi-year overhaul plan with upgrades including new rides, improved amenities, and a broader food selection for park visitors. Daytona Lagoon opened for business in 2005.
