Lincoln Electric Appoints Michele R. Kuhrt as Chief Transformation Officer

Lincoln Electric Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: LECO) (“Company”), announced today that Michele R. Kuhrt has been appointed as Executive Vice President, Chief Transformation Officer (CTO), effective April 8, 2024. In this newly created role, Kuhrt will lead initiatives to accelerate business process standardization and organizational alignment under the Lincoln Electric Business System (LBS) to support the Company’s strategic goals. She will continue to serve as a member of the executive leadership team and report to Steven B. Hedlund, President and Chief Executive Officer.

“I am excited to appoint Michele as our first Chief Transformation Officer,” stated Mr. Hedlund. “She brings a unique combination of leadership experience in the Human Resources, Information Technology and Finance functions. Her broad cross-functional experience and thought leadership will be instrumental in driving enterprise excellence to accelerate our long-term growth strategy and profitability goals.”

Kuhrt has extensive experience over her 26-year career at Lincoln Electric, most recently serving as Executive Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer. She formerly served as the Company’s Chief Information Officer and Senior Vice President, Tax. Prior to joining Lincoln Electric, she held leadership roles in Tax at Elsag Bailey Process Automation (a unit of ABB) and at PricewaterhouseCoopers. She is a Certified Public Account (CPA) and holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in accountancy from Case Western Reserve University.
