For the second year in a row, edtech leader Ashley Andersen Zantop is named a Gold and Bronze Winner at the Globee® Awards for Impact and Stevie® Awards for Women in Business
Cambium Learning Group, the education essentials company, announced that Chairman and CEO, Ashley Andersen Zantop, is a gold winner at the Globee Awards for Impact and a bronze winner at the Stevie Awards for Women in Business. This is the second consecutive year that Andersen Zantop has been recognized by both awards for her leadership.
Andersen Zantop won a Gold Globee Award in the Leadership Achievement by a Woman in Business category at the 18th annual Globee Awards for Impact (formerly known as the Globee Awards for Women in Business), which honor and celebrate the achievements of individuals, teams, and organizations of all sizes and from all industries around the world.
Further underscoring her impact, Andersen Zantop also received recognition as a bronze winner in the Female Executive of the Year for Business Products category at the 22nd annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business. These awards highlight the achievements of women executives, entrepreneurs, and the organizations they run.
“This recognition is a reflection of the tremendous effort and dedication to our purpose of the Cambium employee community,” said Andersen Zantop. “Every day, our teams work to ensure that K-12 students, families, and educators are seen, valued, and supported. I’m proud of the growth, outcomes and meaningful change our teams and leaders create in close partnership with the communities we serve.”
With over 25 years of experience in the education sector, Andersen Zantop leads Cambium’s mission with an unwavering dedication to social impact. As CEO, she has strengthened the company’s people-driven culture by leading initiatives such as the Remote First model, which enables 98% of employees to work remotely, and Employee Resource Groups, through which 1,000 employees are actively engaged. Under her leadership, Cambium kicked off its Volunteer Service Time program, which provides paid time off for all employees to volunteer on behalf of education-related causes in their communities – helping each employee develop a strong connection to Cambium's purpose. Last year, Cambium served over 30 million unique students and teachers in over 95% of U.S. districts and in over 170 countries. With Andersen Zantop at its helm, Cambium aims to ensure all employees feel seen, valued, and supported – allowing them to put their best foot forward in the workplace.
“Ashley continues to place compassion and innovation at the forefront of everything we do at Cambium,” said Kemi Akinsanya-Rose, Chief Operating Officer of Cambium Learning. “From championing bold, high impact initiatives, to empowering employees to elevate our customer experience, to leading with unwavering inclusivity, her leadership inspires all of us to make a lasting impact in education and beyond.”
