AI-powered insights support faster operational decisions
Customers expanded their use of Samsara’s AI-driven reporting tools in 2025 to surface patterns more efficiently and reduce manual review effort. Reports including Hours of Service (HOS), Driver Documents, Cameras, Safety Inbox, and Unassigned HOS ranked among the most frequently accessed.
AI Insights helped organizations summarize large volumes of data into clear, actionable themes, supporting faster reviews and more consistent oversight as fleets scaled.
“With AI Insights, we get AI-generated summaries that give us a quick, clear look at driver behavior over time,” said Roy “Duke” Adukkalil, Fleet Safety Coordinator at Feeney Brothers and DDS Companies. “Patterns are easier to spot, which makes safety reviews faster and more efficient.”
Safety outcomes improve with sustained AI-driven coaching
In 2025, customers continued to strengthen safety outcomes by using AI-powered tools to identify risk patterns, prioritize coaching, and track progress over time.
The Performance Overview Dashboard enables safety leaders to monitor trends, quantify improvement, and evaluate where coaching interventions are driving measurable results.
“Because of the Performance Overview Dashboard, we have proof that our numbers are increasing based on the right approaches in coaching,” said Otis Anderson, Safety Compliance Analyst at Jordan Carriers.
Fuel efficiency gains compound at scale
Fuel efficiency remained a critical focus in 2025 as customers used operational data to reduce waste and improve vehicle performance. Across the Samsara community, incremental improvements in driving behavior, idling reduction, and routing efficiency translated into meaningful gains at scale.
“When I got that first Fuel and Energy Report, it was an ‘aha!’ moment,” said Todd VanDam, Continuous Improvement Manager at Gordon Food Service. “With visibility into idling time and other important information, we could translate raw data into a comprehensive view of driver behavior. It’s helping us transform into a more fully connected operation.”
