The Melody commuter and Peak 2.0 trail bike debut March 19 with integrated displays, UL-certified batteries, and premium components.
Magnum Bikes, the Salt Lake City-based electric bike brand quietly redefining value in the e-bike market, is launching two new 2026 models designed for safety, reliability, and everyday riding. With prices under $2,000 and over a decade of experience, Magnum is delivering feature-packed bikes that appeal to both commuters and trail riders.

The Melody is Magnum's most refined e-bike yet and one of the lowest step-throughs on the market. A stem-integrated color display, torque-to-cadence switching on the fly, and a UL-certified battery that disappears into a color-matched frame make this bike as elegant as it is capable. A commuter that blends performance, style, reliability, and rides as beautifully as it looks.
Founded in 2015 after spotting the e-bike revolution overseas, Magnum started small, bringing sample bikes to local shops in the back of a pickup truck. A decade later, the company has grown into a brand that balances international standards with its startup roots, focusing on quality, affordability, and safety.
“The e-bike market has exploded, and consumers have more choices than ever,” says Dusty Heyrend, Magnum Bikes Product Specialist. “We’ve spent the last decade raising the bar, making e-bikes that are not just fun to ride, but safe and reliable for everyday use.”
Safety and Compliance at the Core
As states across the U.S. adopt stricter e-bike regulations, all new Magnum bikes are Class 2 out of the box and certified to UL’s e-bike standards, including UL 2271 for e-bike batteries and UL 2849 for complete e-bikes. Riders can also configure their bike to Class 1, 2, or 3 directly through the onboard display, depending on local regulations and riding preferences. “Our bikes already meet European certifications, and now we’re doubling down in the U.S.,” Heyrend explains. “We test bikes in extreme conditions—fire, salt, water, and heat—so riders can trust their bike anywhere.”
The Melody – With one of the lowest step-through frames on the market, the Melody is Magnum’s most refined all-road commuter. A stem-integrated color display lets riders toggle between torque and cadence pedal assist on the fly, while a UL-certified color-matched battery, integrated MIK Click Go rear rack, front and rear lights, and clutched Microshift drivetrain come standard. New chroma paint finishes complete a bike that doesn’t look like an e-bike.
The Peak 2.0 – The upgraded mountain bike blends off-road capability with commuter versatility. Featuring an 11-48t Microshift cassette, 140mm SR Suntour thru-axle suspension fork, Tektro hydraulic disc brakes, and an integrated display, battery, and rear rack, the Peak 2.0 climbs, commutes, and explores with confidence.
The Melody and Peak will launch March 19 and will be available through Magnum dealers, Magnum retail stores, and online at www.magnumbikes.com.
