WINNIPEG, MB: West End Therapy, a counselling and therapy clinic in Winnipeg, has announced that it is renovating and expanding its clinic on Wall Street.
The clinic moved to 759 Wall Street in August 2024. The location was previously a warehouse operated by Clear Spring Ice; the front wing of the warehouse was converted into a waiting room and a number of therapy rooms. Presently, the therapists at West End Therapy are split between two locations: The one on Wall Street and a clinic at 118 Sherbrook Street.
The renovation and expansion of the Wall Street location is taking place during the spring of 2025; the renovations are expected to be completed in June or July. The expansion includes the development of five new therapy rooms as well as an additional waiting room. Once the expansion is complete, the Sherbrook location will close, and all of the therapists will offer services from the Wall Street location.
“We are excited to be converting what was previously warehouse space in this commercial and industrial district into a welcoming hub for mental health and healing,” said Christine Holowick, a therapist and the clinic director of West End Therapy.
“We love the location, which is next to local restaurants on this small, busy strip of Wall Street. We are really pleased with the warm space that our team has created for our clients, since moving in last year. All of us put our heart and soul into our work, and I think our clients can feel that. We are excited to see how the expansion turns out and welcome everyone into this new space in the summer.”
West End Therapy is a therapy clinic located in Winnipeg. It offers a number of different services, including individual therapy, couples therapy, family therapy, EMDR therapy, and play therapy. Currently, the clinic’s team is made up of 15 therapists, each with their own unique approach to therapy.
