The custom gown process begins with a consultation either over the phone or at her office in Sarasota, Florida. Through this consultation, clients discuss with Douglas their unique vision; their wants, must-haves, and turn offs are all discussed in-depth as part of this consultation. This end product of this consultation is a completely bespoke bridal gown design created solely for the client in mind, and then the sewing process begins.
The initial consultation and sewing process should begin at least 4-6 months in advance of the wedding day, according to the team at Kayla Douglas Bridal. Custom gowns range from $1800-$3600, offering a viable alternative to off the rack dresses with a higher price tag.
