To promote the exchange and development of global television series art and encourage the presentation of diverse cultures and innovative expression, the Drama and Film Research Center of the International Film Science and Arts Academy (IIFSA) will grandly host the Global TV Series Ceremony (IIFSA Astria Award for Global TV Series) in Bangkok, Thailand, in December 2025.

This ceremony represents a significant expansion and upgrade into the television series domain by the International Film Science and Arts Academy, following the international acclaim garnered by the IIFSA Astar Award in the film field. It aims to recognize outstanding television series and professionals who have made exceptional contributions in artistic creation, social value, cultural heritage, and global dissemination.

The ceremony will feature core awards including Best TV Series, Best Director, Best Screenwriter, Best Actor, and Best Actress. Additionally, special awards will be introduced in categories such as Cultural Heritage, Cross-border Innovation, Outstanding Newcomer, and Fashion Icon to highlight the diverse dimensions and cross-integration power of contemporary television series.

Organized by the IIFSA Drama and Film Research Center, the event will invite participation from major global film and television institutions, renowned producers, directors, actors, scholars, and industry representatives to jointly witness this shining moment for television series art.
