The Jumusen Art Exhibition Center in Wanzhou District, Chongqing, is hosting Zhang Baoyue's first solo exhibition, presenting her "Entropy" series of oil paintings. All the works are brand-new masterpieces from 2025. The exhibition runs from November 7th, 2025 to November 29th, 2025.
The "Entropy" series of works is Zhang Baoyue's first solo exhibition. In 2025, artist Zhang Baoyue focuses on the sci-fi field of time and space, and offers profound philosophical thoughts on the two-way game between nature and technology.
Artist Zhang Baoyue was born in 1996 in Wanzhou District, Chongqing City, China. She currently resides in Chongqing. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin

Madison (USA), obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Economics and a Master's degree in econometrics. This time, the first exhibition of the Entropy series of oil paintings is presented. Entropy is a thermodynamic function that measures the degree of chaos in a system. An increase in entropy indicates the chaos of the universe, while a decrease in entropy represents the orderly state of the world. Human beings' protection and reverence for nature are transforming the icebergs and the land of the future. The future century will be the era of artificial intelligence machines, a contest between carbon-based and silicon-based organisms, and also a devout protection of human memory, emotions and autonomous consciousness. The work projects the current environmental pollution issues, unemployment problems, emotional problems, as well as the future emotional communication and social integration issues of human beings, and the sharp problems of human physical and mental health in the future. The projection of human and animal forms onto the current social state is a two-way game between nature and human high-tech wisdom.
The universe and nature themselves possess a grand, powerful and deafening vitality that has captivated humanity for thousands of years. Thousands of years later, the City of Memory will carry human memories. In the future, robots will guard human cloud memories and digital life on Earth or in some corner of the universe. On the day depicted in the painting, silicon-based organisms suddenly gained self-awareness and began to have emotions. Emotions mean happiness, depression and anger. Machines began to engage in social competition and psychology similar to those of humans.
