COLOGNE, Germany - July 14, 2025 - Nivari, the premier independent German luxury watch brand, today announced the debut of its Eden Collection, a new line of exclusive luxury watches with four distinct expressions of timeless design. Nivari’s Eden Collection comprises serious German-made mechanical watches with finishing and components far above their price tier. The watches will be available for exclusive pre-order through Kickstarter at the beginning of August 2025. Reservations are encouraged. The company’s debut of these distinctive watches celebrates diversity in design, inspiration, and culture. Nivari has pledged a portion of its post-Kickstarter proceeds to support children in need.
“We are excited to premiere the Nivari Eden Collection, which celebrates the birth of our new brand,” said a spokesperson for Nivari. “The launch is the culmination of many years of work. Nivari is dedicated to the value of thoughtful design because even the unseen needs attention.”
Nivari is an independent German watch brand whose image is built on four pillars: precision craftsmanship, Swiss movements, German final assembly, and high-end finishing standards. The spokesperson explained, “Our name, Nivari, combines the words ‘niva,' which means 'garden' in Japanese, and ‘vari,’ the Latin word for variety—but also the finish word Finnish for color. This is what we represent, one word that stands for watches crafted to capture the calm of nature in all its variety and vibrant richness. The collection’s name, Eden, a reference to the Garden of Eden, suggests the glory of nature in all its spectacular color and nuance.”
For example, Nivari offers a watch with a pistachio green face, an unusual color choice for a watch. “We look to nature for inspiration,” the spokesperson added. “We want to offer our customers a contrast to most high-end watches, which embody color schemes and designs that are industrial and technical in nature.”
Nivari’s high-end, opulent designs challenge the luxury watch brand niche with affordable price points. The Eden Collection campaign offers an introductory $1 USD reservation system that provides early supporters the opportunity to secure the lowest prices before the campaign goes live. The token deposit guarantees a priority access link before the public launch and access to limited early bird tiers, starting as low as 879 EUR / 990 USD.
The Eden Collection combines high-spec technical execution with poetic design language, meticulously fabricated for collectors who seek more than status symbols. Watches feature hand-finished components and a tool-free micro-adjustment clasp, typically found on watches that can cost collectors between €5,000 and €10,000. It can be adjusted on the go, without the need for traditional watchmaker pins or tools, ensuring a perfect fit for the wearer. Eden Collections thus represent a compelling new option for value-conscious enthusiasts.
The Eden Collection features four dial variants, including:
• Sakura – A softly shifting pink-silver dial, reminiscent of cherry blossoms, that has drawn favorable comparisons to Grand Seiko’s iconic “Shunbun.” The light-reactive dial offers a beautiful floating petal texture.
• Mineral Blue – Inspired by the copper-rich mineral Smithsonite, featuring Swiss Super-LumiNova® for a blue emission.
• Pistachio Green – A modern, refreshing alternative with a smooth gloss finish.
• Obsidian Black – High-gloss lacquer with mirror-like depth.
Nivari focuses on perfect proportions in its watch designs. The Eden watch has a 45mm lug-to-lug measurement, coupled with a 40mm diameter. The band tapers from 20mm to 16mm. “These measurements are essential for a comfortable luxury experience,” the spokesman said. “Combined with hand polishing, they remove traces of sharpness that affect the wrist. We aim to be as smooth as butter.”
All Eden Collection watches are crafted with a Swiss Sellita SW-200 automatic movement and a stainless-steel bracelet featuring finely satin-brushed surfaces paired with hand-polished bevels, a rarity in this price range. The mechanical watches are water-resistant to 100m and boast a lightweight, ultra-slim profile of 9.9 mm.
