Dallas, TX - January 7, 2026 - WTM Network Studios, a family-owned production company specializing in 3D animated films, has shared details on its upcoming 2026 projects, including the debut of a new film saga and the continued development within its established fantasy franchise. The studio produces kid-friendly animated features designed for all ages, grounded in fantasy and sci-fi storytelling with classic good-versus-evil themes.

Anchoring the studio’s 2026 slate is the launch of the Journey One Saga, a multi-part animated film series that explores identity, purpose, and moral choice through a richly imagined fantasy world. The first installment, Sage: The Chosen One, introduces audiences to the saga’s central mythology and characters, setting the foundation for future chapters planned by the studio. The film is directed by Xavier Woodson, Founder of WTM Network Studios, whose creative vision guides the franchise’s long-term narrative. Its creative team includes lead writer Anastasia Bolden and assistant writer Efrain Collazo. The title character, Sage, is voiced by Baileigh Dill, bringing the saga’s central hero to life.
To mark the introduction of the Journey One Saga, WTM Network Studios will host a combined Blue Carpet premiere and live interview event on April 4, 2026. The event will take place at Texas Movie Bistro and will be live streamed at Vantablacktv.com, allowing audiences to experience the event both on-site and online. Admission to the event is free, though seating is limited to 65 guests.
This April 4 event will be the first official interview for the Journey One Saga. During the interview portion, attendees and viewers will be given a preview of Sage: The Chosen One, including a debut trailer and select clips from the film. The event will be hosted by Rachel Cardenas, the host and creator of the What’s Up, Dallas Podcast.
In addition to launching the Journey One Saga, WTM Network Studios also confirmed plans to continue expanding its School of Wizards animated universe. The studio will open a casting call in September 2026 for School of Wizards: Darkness Falls, the third chapter in the series. The upcoming installment is expected to further expand the franchise’s fantasy universe while continuing its focus on character-driven storytelling and high-stakes moral conflict.
Additional announcements related to release timelines, casting details, and future installments across WTM Network Studios’ multiverse are expected to be shared throughout 2026.
