With 4 years of eligibility remaining, Justin has a new JUCO ruling, the COVID waiver, and has a waiver option from 2021 and 2023 to be immediately eligible. The 6”4 257 lb QB/TE currently brings the most championship experience and success under his belt in the transfer portal to college football as a transfer other than recent QB transfer Miami commit Carson Beck, winning Both a national championship and a conference championship, and a bowl game championship.


He was originally a Recruit QB prospect of the Jimbo Fisher FSU staff back in 2017 before Fisher parted ways with the Noles. Justin later found out he was a non-qualifier and had to attend junior college, where in his first semester was involved in a fatal car accident suffering injuries.


After that, Justin transferred from junior college in Mississippi after coaches there decided to part ways due to the injuries he sustained in the accident. Even while hurt and playing limited snaps late in the following season and won a state championship at North Florida. Following the 2018 season, Justin began to regain his health for that season. After North Florida folded due to financial reasons he transferred late to Birmingham JC, where while still getting healthy struggled to stay on the field but contributed to winning a national championship there, despite seeing very limited playing time due to recovery from injuries. 


In 2019 after winning a national championship with Birmingham JC, Justin transferred to UCF but sat out due to institutional mistakes with transfer credits and transcripts. In 2020 following COVID-19, Justin delayed transferring with schools recruiting him shutting down campuses and seasons, and going to elite JC, in Kissimmee FL, but was involved in another car accident and missed that COVID season with a damaged ligament in his left ankle. 



In 2021, he enrolled at VUL and faced institute problems, a lack of staff on campus due to COVID-19, an error in his semester start date, no books no book store, no tutors available, no refund money to purchase books until after the semester was over. Later on, Justin would meet a conference waiver rule to enroll at MDA JUCO and help lead them to a conference championship and a Quarterfinal championship as both a Quarterback and tight end. In 2022 Justin reached out to former WSSU head coach Kinus Boulware who was the defensive coordinator at Alabama A&M who recruited Justin while in junior college and decided to transfer there.
