Latitude Yachts has opened order availability for LANIAKEA 88, an 88-foot carbon-fiber luxury power catamaran scheduled for delivery in 2026. The project introduces a performance-focused approach to multi-hull design, combining shallow-water access, advanced composite engineering, and contemporary living spaces.
-- Riga, Latvia — December 23, 2025 — Latitude Yachts, a European superyacht manufacturer specializing in advanced composite construction, has announced that it is now accepting orders for LANIAKEA 88, a new 88-foot (26.75 m) carbon-fiber luxury power catamaran currently under construction and scheduled for delivery in 2026.

Developed to meet evolving owner preferences for performance, versatility, and modern design, LANIAKEA represents a shift toward a more dynamic category of power catamarans. The yacht has recently been recognized by Boat International as the world’s first true sports catamaran, reflecting its emphasis on speed, efficiency, and handling without sacrificing onboard comfort.
A Performance-Led Power Catamaran Concept
Constructed entirely from advanced carbon-fiber composites, LANIAKEA achieves a high strength-to-weight ratio, supporting responsive handling and efficient cruising. A notable design feature is its ultra-shallow draft of 0.61 meters, enabling access to lagoons, coral environments, and sheltered bays that are typically inaccessible to yachts of comparable size.
This combination of offshore capability and shallow-water operation positions the yacht as a versatile platform for a wide range of cruising environments.
Design and Engineering Collaboration
The exterior and interior design is led by yacht designer Chulhun Park, with naval architecture and engineering by Dixon Yacht Design. The collaboration integrates sculpted exterior lines with a technical platform designed for stability, speed, and long-range operation.
LANIAKEA is powered by twin OXE 300 Jet-Tech diesel outboards paired with waterjet propulsion, selected to complement the lightweight carbon-fiber structure. Optional propulsion configurations allow owners to tailor performance output based on operational needs.
Interior Layout and Onboard Systems
With a beam of 11.75 meters, the yacht offers interior volume typically associated with significantly larger vessels. Layout options include four to six guest cabins, a full-beam master suite, crew accommodation, and open-plan social spaces framed by panoramic glazing.
Onboard systems include digital switching, integrated navigation, multi-zone audio, battery-supported silent operation, and optional solar-assisted energy solutions, supporting efficient and future-ready operation.
