Boston Medical Center (BMC) published the results of its pregnant women tracking study in Circulation, a journal of the American Heart Association, in which more than 98% of the 1,000 people it studied between April 2020 and September 2021 had their BP measured at home at least once. Within six weeks of giving birth, patients measured their blood pressure an average of up to 17 times.

By providing patients with a blood pressure cuff that matches their phone, the BMC team validated that their RPM program is effective in identifying risks that arise among patients.
