Goosechase Launches the World's First Bird Bracket: A Tournament of Iconic Bird Brands

Goosechase launches the world's first Bird Bracket! 16 iconic bird brands face off in a fan-voted showdown on X. Who will soar to victory? Follow @Goosechase and vote starting March 27! #BirdBracket

TORONTO - March 24, 2025 - PRLog -- It's time to ruffle some feathers. Kicking off on March 27th, interactive experience platform Goosechase is launching the world's first-ever Bird Bracket, a tournament-style competition on X that pits the most beloved consumer and tech bird brands against each other. Yes, niche. Yes, fun.

From corporate icons to cereal mascots, the flock is gathering for an epic showdown where only one bird brand can soar to victory!

"There are so many iconic birds out there—why not give them their moment to shine? We love a little friendly chaos, and what better way to celebrate tournament season than by having brands battle it out?" said Andrew Cross, CEO and Founder of Goosechase. "It's goofy, competitive, and honestly, it just feels very 'us.'"

The Rules
Simple. Each matchup is decided by fan votes on X, and we'll keep the bracket updated in real time as the competition unfolds. Will recently revived Duolingo take flight to the top spot? Can Big Bird hold his own against the sparkle of Swarovski? Which early bird—Froot Loops' Toucan Sam or Corn Flakes' Cornelius Rooster—will be eating the breakfast of champions?

No Sports Teams Allowed!
Yes, we know. There are a lot of bird-themed sports teams out there (we see you, Eagles, Falcons, and Blue Jays fans). But let's be real—if we let them in, we'd be running a league, not a bracket. So, for this showdown, we're keeping it strictly corporate, consumer, and cultural icons. We just happen to be running the tournament alongside the iconic annual event that rhymes with "Parch Padness".

The Seeding & Schedule
The tournament tips off on March 27, where 16 brands will be flapping for survival. The top eight will battle it out on March 31, and by April 9, we crown the golden goose– err, bird.
To keep things fair (and hilarious), we've ranked each competitor based on a mix of "gooseyness", longevity, and sheer cultural impact. Here's a peek at the first 16 contenders:

  • Tech & Social: Twitter (gotta pay our respects), Goosechase, Duolingo, Hootsuite
  • Fashion & Retail: Canada Goose, American Eagle, Hollister, Swarovski
  • Food & Beverage: Froot Loops (Toucan Sam), Corn Flakes (Cornelius Rooster), Nestlé, Dove
  • Culture & Travel: Penguin Random House, Swift, American Airlines, Big Bird
All Birds, No Beef
To be clear, there are no partnerships, affiliations, endorsement, or sponsorship, between Goosechase, the companies cited above or named in the bracket, or the NCAA. This bracket is all in good fun—just a celebration of bird brands that have taken flight in pop culture. After all, birds of a feather flock together, and we're here to embrace the chaos of tournament season in the friendliest way possible.
