Zipline, the leading field enablement platform for distributed teams, today announced the appointment of Chirag Mehta as Chief Product Officer (CPO) and Amyra Rand as Senior Vice President (SVP) of Sales. The leadership expansion will help Zipline accelerate product innovation and enter new verticals and geographies.

Chirag Mehta brings over 20 years of experience building and scaling enterprise software businesses. Most recently, Mehta was Chief Product Officer at iCIMS, the largest cloud-based talent acquisition suite with $300+ million ARR. There, Mehta led the charter to design and deliver the end-to-end unified Talent Cloud experience across the iCIMS portfolio of talent acquisition products to its ~4,500 customers that employ more than 35 million people worldwide.

Prior to joining iCIMS, Mehta had various leadership roles at Google, where he led several efforts to drive the adoption and growth of Google Cloud, helping it grow from $4B a year to $4B a quarter.

The foundation of these experiences lies in Mehta's 10-year history at SAP, where he put data-first solutions in place to reimagine enterprise software scenarios, leveraging the power of machine learning and AI. As former Vice President of Product Marketing and Business Development, Mehta was instrumental in SAP HANA, a database as a service (DBaaS) software for modern applications and analytics across all enterprise data. As part of the initial viral success, Mehta worked closely with the field to educate, evangelize, and help accelerate revenue growth.

At Zipline, Mehta will leverage his extensive experience to lead the company's engineering, product management, and product design teams.

“The retail space has changed significantly in response to new consumer behaviors driven by the pandemic,” said Chirag Mehta, CPO of Zipline. “Now more than ever, retail brands need a platform like Zipline to help them overcome new challenges, seize new opportunities, and ensure complete alignment between HQ and stores. It's an honor to join a company that is so well respected in the industry.”

Zipline also welcomes Amyra Rand as its new SVP of Sales. Rand brings 20 years of experience leading high-growth sales organizations across a wide variety of verticals in the software industry, including enterprise resource planning, human capital management, healthtech, and marketing. Rand joins Zipline from Ziflow, where she led the revenue team and worked closely with their strategic partners to drive rapid growth in terms of both customer count and revenue. Rand will leverage her experience scaling high-performing software sales teams as the company rapidly expands into new retail sectors.

“Every retail brand is unique, but many organizations in this industry face remarkably similar challenges today, including supply chain issues, implementing new technology or engaging and retaining employees,” said Amyra Rand, SVP of Sales at Zipline. “Equipping retailers with Zipline's field enablement platform provides the foundation that every brand needs to operate swiftly in order to grow.   I'm excited to join Zipline and support its mission to help improve retail workers' lives, especially in light of our recent findings that suggest that many associates don't feel supported in their work.”

“Both Amyra and Chirag join Zipline at a time of rapid growth and change for our industry,” said Melissa Wong, CEO and Co-Founder of Zipline. “Their combined expertise in scaling cloud platforms through strategic product decisions and sales processes is what we need to navigate the Zipline's next phase of growth and ensure we continue to drive success for our best-in-class customers.”
