SemiNex Corporation Publishes Product Design Files

SemiNex website offers STEP and Solidworks product files to facilitate CAD design
PRLog - Sep 11, 2013 - PEABODY, Mass. -- As a service to SemiNex's diversified and growing customer base and in accordance to industry standards, SemiNex Corporation published design files for all its standard high power infrared laser products.  Files are provided in popular STEP and Solidworks formats.

SemiNex invests significant resources in the design, fabrication and production of 1300 to 1700 nm laser submounts and fiber coupled packages.   With the addition of CAD files to the SemiNex website, designers may now integrate SemiNex lasers into their system design with minimal effort.

"As the industry leader in 1300 to 1700 nm multimode laser diodes, we continually look for better ways to service our customers," remarked David Bean, President of SemiNex Corp.  "Designers can save up to two hours of CAD drafting time by using these well-formatted files. The process of using known-good CAD files also reduces errors as compared to re-drafting the parts from flat drawings."

In recent months SemiNex designed two new packages including a 14-pin butterfly and a high power multi-chip module.  Design files for these two prototypes are immediately available on the SemiNex web site.  "Having CAD files online allows users to readily try out different package configurations in their system to help choose the most suitable part," noted Neal Stoker, VP Sales & Marketing.

Files are located on the SemiNex products page /products/product-cad-files.aspx.  Please contact SemiNex sales at info@seminex.com for further information or to discuss your specific requirements.
