PRLog - Sep 13, 2013 - SINGAPORE -- Determined to put a stop to the wasteful naming struggle encountered by many startups, a two-man venture has launched a new service – providing unique, brandable and hand-vetted startup names with pre-secured .com domains.

“For startups who are trying to come up with a name, the process often becomes a time and money burning game of chicken-and-egg,” says NameBoot co-founder Jose Lopez.

“During the traditional naming process, startups often spend a lot of time and resources brainstorming and discussing options. Then, once they've finally decided on a name, they look to see if the .com version is available,” explains Lopez.

“In many cases, their selected name is already registered as a .com and they need to try and purchase the domain from the current owner. If it is not for sale or the price is cost prohibitive, the team is forced back to the drawing board to start the process all over again.”

But within this struggle, Jose and fellow co-founder James Allen, saw a solution.

“With NameBoot, we are encouraging startups to skip the worst part of this process, skip all the time and money wasted by the naming game. By utilizing our service, startups can focus on creating and marketing their product. The naming process becomes as easy as selecting from our collection of unique names that have already been hand-vetted, checked for .com domain availability and pre-registered for them.”

But with most dictionary words and short .com domains already registered, how does this team come up with these names?

“Fellow co-founder James Allen is a direct response copywriter by trade and is very familiar with what works when it comes to naming and branding,” explains Lopez.

Allen adds, “When I heard Jose describe the naming system he had developed for his own website network, I immediately saw how combining my own parameters for brandable names with his process would create 100% new and original names for startups. After a bit of tweaking – to our amazement, we were able to come up with the exact type of unique names we were looking for.”

According to Lopez and Allen, the startup names they generate and select from have to meet seven specific criteria.

“All the names we offer must be short, easy to pronounce, easy to spell, easy to remember, topic-neutral, unique and available to register as a .com domain.” states Lopez.

NameBoot has opened its doors with an initial offering of twenty startup names with pre-secured .com domains. Interested startups can view the current selection by visiting: www.NameBoot.com
