Dividends constitute an ever-growing percentage of personal income, according to the latest available data from S&P Dow Indexes.

Dividend income made up 5.64% of U.S. per capita personal income in 2012, compared with 4.39% in the previous 10 years and 3.51% in the last 20 years.

The good news for investors looking for more dividend income is that companies have been generous with their payouts in 2014. Data from S&P Dow Jones Indexes shows 696 dividend boosts were reported in Q2 2014 compared to 591 hikes posted in 2013's second quarter.

Last week a whopping 80 companies sweetened the dividend pot. Following are the 30 most notable dividend boosts announced during the week ending July 25.

Dividend Stocks That Just Hiked Payouts

Altera Corp. (Nasdaq: ALTR) upped its quarterly payout $0.03 to $0.18 a share for a 2.15% yield.

Dividend Income American Airlines Group Inc. (NYSE: AAL) last week declared its first quarterly common stock dividend in 34 years. The world's largest carrier by traffic, following its December merger with US Airways, will begin a quarterly distribution on Aug. 18 of $0.10 a share for 1% yield.

Atlas Pipeline Partners LP (NYSE: APL) raised its quarterly dividend a penny to $0.63 a share for a 6.88% yield.

BorgWarner Inc. (NYSE: BWA) boosted its quarterly dividend 4% to $0.13 a share for a yield approaching 1%.

Brunswick Corp. (NYSE: BC) hiked its quarterly dividend 25% to $0.125 a share for a 1.18% yield. Earlier this month, Brunswick announced the sale of its retail bowling business to Bowlmor AMF for $270 million so it can focus on its boating and fitness units.

Cross Timbers Royalty Trust (NYSE: COLB) raised its quarterly dividend 37.5% to $0.23 a share for an 8.24% yield.

D.R. Horton Inc. (NYSE: DHI) increased its quarterly dividend 66.7% to $0.062 a share for a 1.16% yield.

E I Du Pont De Nemours & Co. (NYSE: DD) upped its quarterly dividend $0.02 to $0.47 a share for a 2.9% yield. The Dow component has been paying uninterrupted dividends since 1904.

Ethan Allen Interiors Inc. (NYSE: ETH) raised its quarterly payout $0.02 to $0.12 a share for a 2% yield.

Fidelity Southern Corp. (Nasdaq: LION) boosted its quarterly distribution 12.5% to $0.09 a share for a 2.5% yield.

GlaxoSmithKline Plc. (NYSE ADR: GSK) grew its quarterly payout 1.3% to $0.64 a share for a 4.8% yield.

Hershey Co. (NYSE: HSY) hiked its quarterly dividend 10.3% to $0.535 a share for a 2.3% yield. The Sept. 15 dividend will be the chocolate giant's 339th consecutive regular common stock dividend.

Interface Inc. (Nasdaq: TILE) increased its quarterly payout 33.3% to $0.04 a share for a 1% yield.

KKR & Co. LP (NYSE: KKR) raised its quarterly dividend 55.8%, or $0.24, to $0.67 a share for a 7.3% yield. The increase came after the private equity firm posted a threefold increase in Q2 earnings.

Lindsay Corp. (NYSE: LNN) hiked its quarterly dividend a penny to $0.27 a share for a 1.3% yield.

MarkWest Energy Partners LP (NYSE: MWE) upped its quarterly dividend $0.01 to $0.88 a share for a yield just shy of 5%.

Nabors Industries Ltd. (NYSE: NBR) raised its quarterly payout 50% to $0.06 a share for a yield approaching 1%. "The Board's increase in the dividend reflects the financial strength of the Company and our strong commitment to increase shareholder value," Chief Executive Officer Tony Petrello said.

Norfolk Southern Corp. (NYSE: NSC) increased its quarterly dividend $0.03 to $0.57 a share for a 2.12% yield. The Dow transportation component has paid dividends without interruption since 1901 and hiked them consecutively for the last 13 years.

Oneok Inc. (NYSE: OKE) upped its quarterly dividend 2.7% to $0.575 a share for a 3.44% yield. "We expect that increased distributions from ONEOK Partners, driven primarily by the partnership's previously announced $6 billion to $6.4 billion capital-growth program through 2016, will enable ONEOK to continue increasing the dividend to our shareholders," said CEO Terry K. Spencer.

Oneok Partners LP (NYSE: OKS) raised its quarterly dividend 2% to $0.76 a share for a 5.27% yield.

Phillips 66 Partners LP (NYSE: PSXP) boosted its quarterly payout 10% to $0.30 a share for a 1.82% yield.

Provident Financial Holdings Inc. (Nasdaq: PROV) raised its quarterly dividend a penny to $0.11 a share for a 3% yield.

QEO Midstream Partners LP (NYSE: QEOM) increased its quarterly dividend 3.7% to $0.28 a share for a 4.33% yield.

Republic Services Inc. (NYSE: RSG) raised its quarterly dividend $0.02 to $0.28 a share for a 3% yield.

Simon Property Group Inc. (NYSE: SGP) sweetened its quarterly dividend 6.4% to $1.30 a share for a 3.08% yield.

Stanley Black & Decker Inc. (NYSE: SWK) increased its quarterly payout $0.02 to $0.52 a share for a 2.3% yield. This marks the 47th consecutive annual dividend increase from the tool titan.

Tesoro Logistics LP (Nasdaq: TLLP) boosted its quarterly distribution 4.2% to $0.62 a share for a 3.4% yield.

USA Compression Partners LP (NYSE: USAC) upped its quarterly payout a penny to $0.50 a share for a near 8% yield.

Western Gas Partners LP (NYSE: WGP) hiked its quarterly dividend 4% to $0.65 a share for a 1.9% yield.

Williams Partners LP (NYSE: WPZ) raised its quarterly dividend 1.3% to $0.91 a share for a 6.91% yield.
