Leverage Mobile LLC, an IBM Premier Partner, debuted a new mobility service at IBM Impact 2014 in Las Vegas, NV. The service allows organizations of all types to deploy mobile applications fully integrated into backend systems along with EMM (Enterprise Mobility Management) software all bundled as a service – so there are no up-front costs.
IBM Impact 2014, which took place at The Venetian in Las Vegas, from April 27th to May 1st, brought together over 9,000 industry leaders, experts, and clients to share and exchange ideas about how to build faster, more secure, and more adaptive businesses. This global conference highlighted current industry trends, products, and services that showcased trends and technologies to enable businesses to stay current and competitive.
Leverage Mobile is at the forefront of several major technology trends in IT highlighted at the conference: mobile applications, EMM and cloud services. In Gartner’s Top 10 Strategic Technology Trends 2014, mobile apps, device management and cloud services dominate, taking up five of the 10 spots on the list – and these trends are not expected to change much over the next several years.
“As an IBM Premier Partner, we have many years of experience developing world class mobile solutions for our customers and we know that it pays to partner with the best,” said Doug Hawley, Leverage Mobile President. “According to Gartner, IBM Worklight, IBM Cast Iron and Fiberlink, by IBM are all top rated enterprise software solutions – so now we can bring world class software to organizations of all types and sizes in a fraction of the time and as a subscription service. So businesses no longer have to wait for custom solutions and pay for costly development.”
Leverage Mobile has developed a technology solution that is not widely available to help “average” businesses connect mobile workers to the information they need to perform their jobs quickly and efficiently. The core technology is based on state-of-the art IBM software, propriety software written by Leverage Mobile and is offered in a SaaS model hosted at a secure network operations center (NOC). Using Leverage Mobile’s service, businesses can connect their mobile workers (managers, sales people, warehouse workers, inspectors, delivery personnel) with information housed in their back-end systems (ERP, Accounting, Order Fulfillment, CRM) using commercially available devices (smartphones, tablets, rugged handhelds) operating on widely used mobile operating systems (iOS, Android and Microsoft).
