IBM’s Sandy Carter Interviews Leverage Mobile CTO at IBM Impact 2014

Sandy Carter, General Manager of IBM Ecosystem Development interviewed Matt Smith, CTO of Leverage Mobile at IBM Impact 2014 in Las Vegas, Nevada and discussed a number of trends affecting mobility for the modern enterprise.  See the interview here.  The interview came on the heels of the debut of Leverage Mobile’s new mobility service at IBM Impact that allows organizations of all types to deploy mobile applications fully integrated into backend systems along with EMM (Enterprise Mobility Management) software all bundled as a service.

During the interview, Mr. Smith discussed several key topics including mobile strategy, delivering mobility via the cloud, the need for a platform vs. pushing out “one-off” apps, and the value of IBM software.

“Whether you’re a Fortune 100 company or a small business trying to stay competitive, mobility can be hard” said Matt Smith, Leverage Mobile CTO.  “What it’s going to cost? How long will it take? Impact 2014, which took place at The Venetian in Las Vegas, from April 27th to May 1st, brought together over 9,000 industry leaders, experts, and clients to share and exchange ideas about how to build faster, more secure, and more adaptive businesses. This global conference highlighted current industry trends, products, and services that showcased trends and technologies to enable businesses to stay current and competitive.
