UviaUs’ Uvideo product added excitement and got attention, says Father, Jim Eber
SEATTLE - Nov. 8, 2015 - PRLog -- In the world of science fairs, much like the business world, the competition for attention is fierce. Simon, a sixth grader, found a unique way to stand out using a new technology - the customizable video screen found in UviaUs’ Uvideo device.

“My project was about 'Sound Waves': How Does the Vibration of a Guitar String Travel Through Water?” says Simon. He uses the example of the movie Jurassic Park, and how the sound of the approaching T-Rex makes a perfect ripple in the cup on the dashboard of the car.

“My hypothesis was the ripple effect seen in 'Jurassic Park' could be recreated using a guitar’s G-string.”

Since no liquids are allowed in the competition, Simon needed a creative way to showcase his experiment. Enter Uvideo. He filmed a video of his experiment, then uploaded it to the Uvideo device which then became a part of his display.

And what was the reaction from the judges?

It caught their attention! “They thought it was innovative and interesting and a great way to integrate video in a way they had not seen before.” As a result, Simon advanced to the national semi-finals of the 2015 Broadcom MASTERS®.

In Jim Eber’s, published author and renowned businessman, words, “There was a wow factor for sure. People PAID ATTENTION. There were hundreds of others competing with incredibly smart and terrific topics and that’s really like business today — lots of companies shouting for your business and looking for a way to stand out. People are your first point of difference — just like my boy in the fair. But in this ADD world having this to make your project stand out over and above that? Wow, that is saying a lot.”
