Health Enhancement Systems announces the addition of 3 team members and a new, state-of-the-art headquarters as the company grows to meet an escalating demand for its world-class well-being campaigns.
MIDLAND, Mich. - Nov. 30, 2016 - PRLog -- Health Enhancement Systems, world leader in workplace well-being programs, recently welcomed 3 new team members and expanded into a new headquarters building at 800 Cambridge Street in Midland, Michigan. The creator of top-selling HealthTrails, 10K-A-Day, Health for the Holidays, and more is on track to roll out 2 new health challenges in 2017. The company is known for campaigns that improve health by engaging participants to act — through meaningful goals, social connections, and fun.

Top Talent Recruited

Erica Wright joins Health Enhancement Systems as a Quality Assurance team member after studying math, business, and education at Grove City College in Pennsylvania. Together with her colleagues, Erica helps ensure every participant has a stellar experience with well-being campaigns. "I heard about the great work environment here, with the emphasis on teamwork… and that it was a fast-growing, forward-moving company. And it's all true." When she's not working, Erica enjoys crafts, traveling to Northern Michigan, and spending time with her husband, Nick.

Ryan Moormann joins the company after earning a computer science degree from Saginaw Valley State University.  As a web developer, he expands a fast-paced, highly skilled team creating and supporting products that help hundreds of thousands of participants live healthier lives. "It's challenging work and an extremely sharp team; I'm learning a lot and enjoying the fun and friendly atmosphere here." Ryan unwinds by working on his motorcycle, reading fiction, hanging out with friends, coding, and spending a little too much time playing Dota.™

Ryan McPhillips is a content researcher who gathers stunning images, writes, and maps coordinates for the virtual routes participants follow as they record healthy habits. As a Northern Michigan University graduate (outdoor recreation leadership and management), Ryan has been a snowboarding instructor, volunteer coordinator for the Noquemanon Trail Network, sea kayak guide, and bicycle mechanic. "I like knowing my work will inspire participants to increase their wellness behaviors, knowledge of the world, and interest in the outdoors or travel." In his free time, Ryan enjoys navigating lakes and rivers, mountain biking, snowboarding, rock climbing, and backcountry camping.

"We're extremely fortunate to bring these talented folks onboard," notes Dean Witherspoon, CEO and founder of Health Enhancement Systems. "They each bring a standout level of ability, energy, and enthusiasm to the team, and we're already seeing them shine."

New Headquarters Unveiled

Health Enhancement Systems recently opened the doors on a new, state-of-the-art headquarters at 800 Cambridge Street in Midland, Michigan. With an interior designed by Midland-based SPACE, Inc. the building features vivid colors, open spaces, private workrooms, expansive windows, open staircases, and a lactation room.  "It was designed with employee well-being and productivity in mind," notes Witherspoon. "We don't just sell best-in-class wellness campaigns; we walk the talk. SPACE, Inc. did an outstanding job.  The design is energizing, and conducive to working together or privately. It's fantastic to have more elbow room. We're well poised to keep growing."
