The Funded: Babysitting app taps power users to fund Series C alongside VCs

UrbanSitter, a San Francisco-based service that connects parents with childcare providers, said it raised $17 million in a Series C round that it will use to expand into new cities, including Atlanta, Austin, Dallas, Portland and Sacramento.
